I am currently a guest for the weekend from San Antonio with my 16 year old son. I love my room. The property has a bit of work to do outside and granted other floors i checked out rooms on weren't as nice but for the price i am paying i am very happy with my room. My only inconvenience is i booked and paid for a room that had a refrigerator and microwave and there is no cable.. but my son and i brought our laptops so hes gaming and i am watching all the movies i want,. My overall experience so far is great!
The first room they gave us was so messy(nasty) the carpet had stains, possibly urine, and shower kept running water and it wouldn't turn off no matter how he turned the knob(!) But I was able to call their main number here on Google and they immediately let us move because maintenance wasn't available at 2am. By then, we were in the 8th floor with a way better cleaner room. I still don't go barefoot in any carpeted hotel room though but it was quite nice. The reason why I left out a star is because I checked their mattress and clearly they didn't add any protection to their mattress!! That is so bad because everyone different sleeps in there and I don't want to share a bed without a mattress protector! At least any cheap and good mattress protector to cover the entire mattress would do but they didn't. They can invest in good cheap mattress protectors and just clean it everytime they checkout and then it would good.
We stayed here recently. They have done a lot of renovations. The rooms that my family and I stayed in were really nice. The hotel was extremely clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating The pool was getting cleaned our last day. I didn't see any roaches or rodents. I didn't smell any smoke or anything. The hotel is in an excellent location. We will be staying here again.
You get what you pay for and I am grateful to have a roof over my head.
Have plans to make this even better... They worked with me and I'm going to show em what I can bring to the table
Multiethnic area with Asian dining in Chinatown, big-name concerts at Arena Theatre & a golf course.
Curated spots travelers usually pair with a stay in Texas. Distances are rough real-world times, not straight-line.
Hand-picked alternatives with a comparable feel, size and price band.
Short, honest notes are more useful than long ones. A few sentences about what worked, what surprised you, and who the hotel is best for will go a long way.
